We have much to be grateful for this holiday season, especially with the end of the Covid-era in close sight. While a vaccine will not be in wide distribution for a few months, it is slated to begin in a few weeks and accelerate from there, with additional vaccines imminent. This is almost certain to expose us to a new reality: the Covid economy is now going to shift, and segments of the economy that were virtually in a coma will begin to awaken and soar! We have already seen signs of this re-awakening in the NYC real estate market with a 30% jump in the number of contracts signed for the month of October and inventory on the decline. This is the case in all price points, including the luxury market ($4M+) which was hardest hit but just had its highest number of weekly contracts signed since March. And, anecdotally, our buyers are telling us they want back in, as they truly miss living in the greatest city in the world. Although the holiday season will be very different this year, an end is near, and we are grateful to see the light at the end of the tunnel. Cheers to this holiday season; may we all enjoy the time with our families, and may life as we knew it, soon resume. One thing is certain, we are sure to enjoy it with a new level of appreciation!

163 East 62nd Street is a new boutique condominium conveniently located between Lexington and 3rd Avenues. The charming building has 7 floors, with 10 completely bespoke residences. The units range from 2 to 4 bedrooms and offer top of the line appliances, central A/C, and washer/dryers in every home. We particularly love the oversized windows which allow for exceptional natural light! No detail has been overlooked - the history and old-world architecture of the neighborhood has been masterfully captured while still retaining modern sophistication. Amenities include a full-time doorman, state-of-the-art gym and communal roof terrace. Contact us for more information!
