It is an ideal time to be looking to buy in Manhattan! Data is showing that the market has bottomed out, rates are down from their highs and buyers have leverage. If you are looking to buy or invest in real estate, here are some important things to consider: What can be changed (i.e. decor, paint color, floors, etc.) What cannot be changed (i.e. view, location, ceiling height, etc.) How long do I plan to live in or own the property? What is presently in contract in the building/neighborhood? What does the mortgage environment look like? We marry the price, but only date the rate.
