The Luxury Market is on Fire!


45 Manhattan contracts were signed last week in the luxury market ($4mm and above), 14 more than the week before.


The last time this many luxury contracts were signed in one week was the 2nd week in December in 2021 when 54 contracts were signed.


Another important data point to note is the total dollar volume of a whopping $433,315,8000, which included 12 deals above $10 million.


20 of the 35 condo deals were sold by sponsors in new development buildings at an average of $3,359/ft.


It will be interesting to see what the rest of the spring selling market will bring. If this last week is any indication, it appears it will be quite busy!
