We hope everyone is enjoying a wonderful start to the holiday season! Its one of our team's favorite times of the year (and busiest)! We are seeing buyers in all price points recognizing that now is the time to get into the market to begin reaping the benefits of the increased inventory, negotiable sellers and/or MAJOR price drops. In addition, we are very excited to announce the newest member of our team, Pam Roth.

Pam has been in the real estate business for 10 years, focusing mostly on the upper east side where she has lived for the last 20 years.  Pam is passionate about traveling and is definitely "in the know" when it comes to NYC's newest restaurants and boutiques (one of the many we reasons we LOVE her!).

Central Park Tower

Set to be the tallest residential building in the city (and the second tallest skyscraper in the U.S.), sales recently commenced at the Central Park Tower, located at 217 West 57th Street. Starting on the building's 32nd floor, the 179 residences will be a mix of two to eight bedrooms, ranging in size from 1,435 to 17,500 square feet. Prices in the building start at $6.5 million and go upwards of $60M.

The building will feature 50,000 square feet of amenities spread out over several floors, including a lounge on the 100th floor, a 15,000 square foot terrace, indoor and outdoor pools, a playground, screening room, fitness center and much more.

Samuel L. Jackson lists Upper East Side combo pad for $13M

Samuel L. Jackson’s Upper East Side condo at the Leonori, located at 26 East 63rd Street, is on the market for $13 million. The combo unit measures 3,000 square feet and features four bedrooms and three and a half bathrooms.

Jackson and his wife LaTanya Richardson purchased the apartment in 2005 for $4.8 million from basketball player Greg Anthony. The apartment boasts high ceilings, a large master bedroom suite, and Central Park views.

Eléa

From the owner of downtown Greek restaurant Kyma comes Eléa. The Upper West Side restaurant features a lively bar on the upper level and a sprawling dining room below. Highlights of the menu include eggplant and zucchini chips, whole grilled fish and lamb chops. The huge space highlights the Greek aesthetic of white walls, light wood, terracotta tile, and Greek-style pottery.

RH Rooftop Restaurant

Famed Chicago restaurateur Brendan Sodikoff opens his second NYC venue in collaboration with Restoration Hardware. The rooftop Meatpacking space (the former location of Pastis) sits above four floors of showroom space and is decked out with crystal chandeliers, manicured hedges, and marble tabletops. The cuisine is American inspired and features staples such as roast chicken, truffled grilled cheese and burgers.

Balaboosta

Famed Israeli chef Einat Admony, of Taim, has reopened and reinvented her Middle Eastern neighborhood restaurant Balaboosta, this time in the West Village. The most exciting dishes on the new menu include several types of hummus, Kohrabi sticks, lamb neck with dates and roasted sunchokes with za’atar aioli.  We're eager to try the breakfast boureka and shakshuka on the brunch menu.

Geometric Patterns

Geometric patterns are always trending as they can be used in either a modern or classic way. The versatility of geometric patterns allows them to be paired with antiques of a traditional home or as an accent in a more modern space. Whether you use the pattern in tile, wallpaper or a simple accent pillow, geometric patterns are sure to bring a fresh and sophisticated flair to your home.
