We love autumn and can't wait to watch the leaves start to turn in Central Park (Click here to see the 2019 Fall Foliage Map). We are also very excited to welcome another new addition to our team - Katie Melchior.

Katie is that special kind of real estate agent who brings the full package! She has her own successful organizing firm, and also a background in interior decorating and staging. Katie is a longtime New Yorker and proud NYU alumna. She lives in Lower Manhattan with her husband and three children, and their dog Marley. One of Katie’s favorite things about living and working in Manhattan is meeting people from so many different cultures and backgrounds, and she will never tire of the fast pace!

Beckford House and Tower
301 East 80th Street and 301 East 81st Street

Beckford House and Tower are among the newest residential developments on the Upper East Side. The beauty and grace of these complimentary buildings, developed by Icon Realty Management and designed by the award-winning design firm Studio Sofield (also known for 135 East 79th), will be a great addition to the historic Lenox Hill neighborhood.

The condominium residences will offer one to six-bedroom homes and will house a total of 102 units and amenities galore! Among them; a pool, basketball court, roof deck, children's playroom, and much more. The Beckford House is anticipated to be complete Spring 2020 and Beckford Tower 2021.

Your Celebrity Real Estate Rundown

Uber's former CEO, Travis Kalanick, recently purchased a $36.5 million duplex penthouse in SoHo. The four-bedroom home boasts over 6,700 interior square feet and an additional 3,400 square feet of outdoor space. Located in the new 565 Broome Street development with proximity to all the cool eclectic downtown shops but with the views and amenities of a modern uptown high-rise.

James Bond actor Daniel Craig and his wife, actress Rachel Weisz, just sold their East Village apartment for $6 million. The three-bedroom property is located in the New Theatre Building at 240 East 10th Street where they have lived since 2012. With the purchase of a $6.75 million townhouse in Cobble Hill last year, they now call Brooklyn their home.

Malibu Farm

Malibu Farm, the new farm-to-table Southern Cali style restaurant in the Seaport District, is definitely one of this Fall's most anticipated openings.  This is truly the perfect spot to enjoy farm fresh ingredients with incredible waterfront views. Currently only open for lunch and brunch, some of the highlights of the menu include a Vegan "Chop" salad, a balsamic ginger skirt steak sandwich, and the avocado huarache pizza.

Crown Shy

We love Crown Shy's modern, relaxed approach to fine dining.  The first solo project of Chef James Kent and Restauranteur Jeff Katz, Crown Shy does not disappoint. Inspired by James's upbringing in downtown New York and his experience leading the city's most celebrated kitchens, Crown Shy is a neighborhood seasonal restaurant elevated by fine dining training and technique.  The decor is also not to be overlooked.  Located on the ground floor of Art Deco masterpiece 70 Pine street, we love the soaring ceilings and thoughtful attention to detail in keeping with the original architecture.

Llama San

Have you heard of Nikkei cuisine? This Peruvian-Japanese style of cooking is now available at Llama San in the West Village and it should definitely be on your "must try" list. Chef Erik Ramirez, who says his dishes are influenced by his grandmother's cooking, is serving up delicacies such as tuna ceviche with black trumpet mushrooms and aged duck breast nigiri with cilantro.

Purple and Pistachio
Deep purples and light pistachio greens are among this season's trending interior design colors. The brave and bold purples can be grounded by the calming greens, but both can also make a statement on their own. You can make these colors a part of your home by painting an accent wall or picking up some new decorative pillows or accessories.
