Your Celebrity Real Estate Rundown
Robert De Niro has big plans in Astoria. He has partnered with Scandinavian architect Bjarke Ingels, his son/real estate broker, Raphael De Niro, film producer Jane Rosenthal, and studio developer Wildflower to create a 650,000 square foot film and television studio. The project is expected to cost $400 million and he hopes it will "ensure that future generations of producers, directors, writers, and storytellers will play a vital role in filmed entertainment in New York for years to come.”
Tommy Hilfiger and his wife, Dee Ocleppo, have sold their Plaza penthouse after 11 years of being on and off the market. The penthouse is one of the few homes in the city with its own turret that features a hand-painted drawing of The Plaza's very own Eloise. The 6,050 square foot home is in contract for $33.25 million.
