The holiday season is officially upon us and something very interesting has happened this past month in the luxury market - deals, LOTS of them! The week before Thanksgiving, 30 contracts were signed at $4m and above - the first time since June of 2018 and the 3rd week in a row of 20 or more $4m + contracts. While only time will tell if the market will continue to improve in 2020, what we do know is that this uptick is likely the result of historically low interest rates, a strong stock market and pent up buyers FINALLY taking advantage of the deep price discounts.
This is great news coming into this “most wonderful time of year” where we look forward to being with our families and friends. We are so grateful for them and all of you, our clients! Thank you for your continued support and entrusting us with one of your most important assets - your home! May this year ahead be filled with joy, laughter and new memories (okay, maybe a little shopping for ourselves too) and cheers to the beginning of a new decade! 2020 here we come...

Your Celebrity Real Estate Rundown
Nora Jones, the Grammy-winning singer-songwriter, listed her Cobble Hill townhome for $8 million. The 5-bed, 3-bath Amity Street home is unique; it even includes a heated lap pool (maybe thats how Nora stays so fit!)
Actress, producer, singer, and former model Liv Tyler sold her West Village townhouse in an off-market deal for $17.45 million. She bought the townhouse in 2001 for $2.53 million and spent years renovating it - clearly it paid off!

Ivy Lane
Calling all Upper East Siders- we have a new hot spot in the neighborhood! Ivy Lane is a new, three-story restaurant and bar serving modern American fare by Chef Sung Park and unique cocktails by Wilmer Nolasco. The striking artwork by Brooklyn artist N. Carlo J. helps create a fun and vibrant atmosphere.
Lola Taverna
Every dish is creative and colorful at Lola Taverna in SoHo. Order the Pikilia and choose your favorite dips to share. Some other key menu items include the chicken gyro bao buns and the moussaka. Every dish seems healthy, tasty, and authentically Greek- you can't go wrong!
Brasserie Saint Marc
Inspired by old New York, Paris, and the South of France, Brasserie Saint Marc is a must-visit for everyone who loves French cuisine. The East Village restaurant features classic favorites, such as Poulet Rôti, Gratinee l'Oignon, and Boeuf Bourguignon.

Marvelous Marble
Marble is a natural and beautiful material. Whether investing in a small marble vase or a complete marble bathroom (like these shown in The Spruce), this simple and versatile stone can heighten the elegance of any home. Marble can accent deep and dark colors to create a cool-toned environment or it can be paired with sparkling gold or pink accents for a more warm and feminine look.
