Now that the snow has FINALLY melted, and the warmer weather, slowly but surely, is here, we felt it apropos to share our top tips for prepping a home for the Spring market! Please read on below... |

We recommend to thoroughly clean, declutter and organize the space as much as possible. Window cleaning is a must!
“I have found using a professional organizer to be immensely helpful. Katie Melchior, of InPlace NYC, has helped me personally.” - Stacey
Step 2: Depersonalize or Stage
For occupied apartments, it is important to remove distracting and personal belongings to permit prospective buyers to envision themselves living there.
For vacant apartments, staging is a must!
Step 3: Tweaks & Tune-Ups
Repaint for a fresh feel and address any needed repairs. Also, another quick and easy way to brighten things up a bit is to purchase new white towels.
"There is always a friends and family sale at Bloomingdales!" - Julie
Step 4: Odors & Ambience
Be sure to address any unpleasant smells and create an inviting ambiance. Playing music, lighting a few candles and baking fresh cookies (click HERE for our favorite recipe), are a few surefire ways to hook and sink a buyer! |
