One of the many great perks of living in Manhattan are the myriad of conveniences it offers. Technology has brought all of the amenities of NYC to our front door, making it easier to live here now more than ever. Here's a roundup of our favorite apps, from transportation to food, and everything else we can't live without in the city that never sleeps! |
Skip the Broadway Box Office and Plan a Staycation
Looking for last minute tickets to your favorite Broadway show? Getting great seats has never been easier with TodayTix. And while you're planning a fun night on the town, why not download Hotel Tonight and get a great deal on a hotel. If you have kids, you can even book a last-minute babysitter on sittercity.
Dinner, Groceries, and Household Deliveries on Demand
Hungry for dinner but don't want to leave the house and may even want something from a neighborhood far far away? Ordering takeout has reached new levels with Postmates, Seamless and Caviar. If you're in the mood to cook, the same delivery conveniences are offered for your grocery/household needs by Thrive, Instacart, Google Express, Amazon Prime and Fresh Direct.
The Mobile Spa, Hair Salon, and Glam Squad
Do you need hair and makeup for a special event or want a late night massage in your living room? Apps like Zeel, Glam and Priv bring the spa and salon to you!
Restaurant Reservations at your Fingertips
Open Table, Resy and Reserve have changed the game when it comes to restaurant reservations. These apps let you easily search for available reservations at almost every restaurant in NYC.
Save Time on the Subway
Shave some time off your commute by downloading Exit Strategy! This app works underground and features the official MTA subway, bus, and street maps PLUS comprehensive 'exit strategies' for each station.
The Alternative Taxi Cab
Tired of trying to hail a cab? So are we! In recent years, the taxi industry has faced fierce competition from ridesharing apps such as Uber and Lyft. These taxi alternatives have offered passengers on-demand rides and generally cheaper fairs. We also like Curb, Via and Juno.
Stay on Top of the NYC Real Estate Market
And last but not least, if you're looking for your next home or just like to track the market, our Compass apps are a must. Compass Search and Compass Markets provide an easy way to search for properties and analyze real-time market trends. Of course, once you're ready to start visiting properties, click here to get in touch with us!
